Farmhouse Inn

Just returned to the East Coast from a 4 day stay at this beautiful property. This stay was absolutely amazing. The property is well kept and stunning with lavender and rosemary at every turn. The room was spacious, tastefully decorated and kept immaculately clean. They have thought of everything. Our dinner at the restaurant was like nothing we have ever experienced. It was absolutely delicious and well thought out. The Farmstand was also very good. We had lunch and breakfast there. The staff is friendly and super helpful. I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting this area. Thank you for wonderful memories!

We were supposed to be on our honeymoon in Italy, when the day before our wedding my soon to be Husband took a very bad fall, and we were not able to travel. The only place we could go that made sense was the Farmhouse Inn in Forestville. They had wheelchair accessibility, room service, the most dedicated, kind, caring, compassionate, staff - we had a mini honeymoon while my husband, (the wedding went off with injuries and sunglasses) rested and recovered from a severe concussion, two broken limbs and a fractured orbital bone. Everyone was so kind and understanding. The room was perfect with the heated bathroom floors, the living room area, very cozy and welcoming, especially since we could not travel outside the hotel. The food was delicious the amenities fantastic I cannot say enough good things about this property and the experience we had. Eternally grateful for caring for us during this challenging time. Also the spa was lovely.

Well placed hotel in Sonoma’s Russian River Valley. From the Farmhouse Inn you are can be reach most of Sonoma county and its wine country in under half an hour. The hotel rooms are well appointed with fireplaces and jacuzzi tubs being luxurious touches. Service was attentive and included turn down service with cookies etc. The spa is wonderful as is the pool and hot tub nearby. Breakfast was great as was lunch. Dinner however was the icing on the cake. I would highly suggest the tasting menu!

My wife and I stayed at Farmhouse Inn for 3 nights to celebrate our anniversary. We felt immediately at home the moment we checked in on a rainy afternoon. The grounds are gorgeous, our Barn Junior Suite room was luxuriously well appointed and the property just feels so cozy, especially coming back after a day of wine tastings. However, it’s the people that work here that make this place so special. Eric and the concierge team were in constant communication to make every second matter. The bellmen, drivers, housekeepers, you name it. You feel truly special staying here. It’s no wonder that almost every winery we went to said that Farmhouse is their favorite hotel in wine country. We were lucky to eat at the namesake restaurant the night of our anniversary. I had done my research and was very excited to see what new Chef Craig and his staff had in store for us. Simply put, we were blown away by the 7 course tasting menu. The return of a Michelin star is a foregone conclusion and they’re likely shooting for 2 stars, IMHO. But it comes back to the people. Our server Sam was always there but courteously respected our privacy. The sommelier Jared (sp?) was funny and extremely knowledgeable. Overall it was one of the best meals and dining experiences of our lives. As a previous reviewer mentioned - make a reservation asap before the secret gets out about Farmhouse. We will 100% be back to stay and dine at Farmhouse Inn!!

We enjoyed the welcoming and gracious staff, the beautiful room and features (soaking tub, steam shower, comfortable bed, lounging chairs), and were conveniently located to visit Healdsburg, Bodega Bay and Sebastopol. The daily wine tastings on premises were a nice way to conveniently taste more local wines and learn about the people behind the wineries.
